Motor Molecolar Protein

A "Motor Molecolar Protein" is defined as a macromolecule (usually protein) capable of converting chemical energy (normally present in the form of ATP) into mechanical force and movement. Many living organisms have different types of specialized molecular motors for different purposes, such as cell division (where actin is involved), cell movement (the components of the flagellum) or movement of internal organelles (kinesin).
